Why I'm More Excited About Sausalito Than Ever

Why I'm More Excited About Sausalito Than Ever

Lately, I've found myself feeling more optimistic about Sausalito than I have in a long time.

There is a different energy in town right now. People are collaborating. New ideas are turning into real projects. Business owners, community leaders, and local organizations are stepping up and investing in the future of this place we all care so much about.

One of the latest examples is the launch of Sausalito: The Dock of the Bay on DowntownSausalito.org.

When I first saw it, my reaction was simple: wow.

It's beautiful. It's thoughtful. And it does an incredible job capturing what makes Sausalito so special. It feels less like a website and more like a love letter to our community.

A huge amount of credit goes to Kass Green of The Inn Above Tide. Kass has been a passionate advocate for Sausalito for years, and this project is another example of her commitment to helping our city thrive. The care, vision, and effort behind this initiative are obvious the moment you see it.

The Sausalito Chamber of Commerce also deserves recognition. The Chamber has been working hard to support local businesses, attract visitors, and strengthen our local economy. Their efforts, combined with the work of so many others throughout town, are helping move Sausalito forward in a meaningful way.

What excites me most is that it feels like everyone is pulling in the same direction.

People are showing up.

People are investing their time.

People are thinking about the future.

And people genuinely want to see Sausalito succeed.

At Eria Events, we see it every day. More companies are asking about hosting events here. More organizations want to bring meetings here. More visitors are discovering Sausalito and choosing to spend time here.

The interest is growing.

The demand is growing.

And the opportunities are growing.

For the first time in a while, it feels like all the right pieces are starting to come together.

That is why I am so excited about this next chapter for Sausalito.

I believe we have an opportunity to strengthen our local businesses, create unforgettable visitor experiences, celebrate everything that makes this city unique, and continue building a community that people want to be part of.

There is still a lot of work ahead of us. But there is also a lot to be excited about.

I am grateful for everyone who is contributing to that momentum, especially Kass Green, The Inn Above Tide, the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Sausalito, and the many business owners, community leaders, and residents who continue to show up and make things happen.

Sausalito has always been special.

Now it feels like more people are starting to recognize just how special it can be.
